Saucepan Cookies
2 cups sugar
1 whole stick
butter
1/2 cup milk
2 oz. unsweetened
chocolate
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped
nuts (pick your favorite kind)
3 cups quick
cooking oats
3/4 cup shredded
coconut
Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil and boil for 2 minutes. Remove
from heat and add last 4 ingredients. Drop by spoonful
onto wax paper to
cool. They harden immediately and stay that way. Makes
about 50 small
cookies.
