RAISIN BRAN MUFFINS

1-15 oz. box of raisin bran cereal
3 cups sugar
5 cups flour
5 teaspoons soda
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 teaspoons salt
4 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 quart of buttermilk
1 cup melted shortening or vegetable oil

Mix all together and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes,
or store batter in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. Just bake as
few or as many as you wish in the morning.
