1 pkg.(8 oz.) liverwurst
4 tbsp. butter, softened
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
2 tbsp. minced green onion including some of the top
1 tbsp. sherry
Mash liverwurst with fork. Blend with soft butter until smooth.
Add bacon, onion, and sherry, blend well. Pack into container
which you plan on using to serve. Chill thoroughly.
Serve with rye or sourdough rounds.
Makes 8 to 10 servings
