Beef is one of our favorites and here are some recipes to help prepare a
nice meal without a lot of time pressure.

Basic Crockpot Meatloaf  This basic recipe can be a starting point for more exotic recipes.

Beef Burgundy  Start this one early, it takes 10 hours to cook.

Beef Diablo My friend Nadine swears by this recipe.  Meat and potatoes with a
kicky sauce.  She puts it on low for the whole day and has a nice tender roast
when she gets home.

Beef Stroganoff  My family just loves this on egg noodles and the crockpot method
makes it so much easier.

Bubbly Ranch Roast  Just a few ingredients, roast, ranch mix, 7-up and soup.
My whole family clambers for this recipe.  We make it once a month at least.

Crockpot Chili   Chili is always a hit, particularly for ball games or cold winter nights.

Crockpot Shepherd's Pie  This just could not be easier.  Use leftover mashed potatoes
for best results.

Crockpot Sloppy Joes  The perennial family favorite is now easier to make in the
slow cooker.

Italian Beef  This is a favorite of my oldest son, who is a big fan of pepperoncini.
This is good for a hearty lunch or a dinner when combined with a salad or soup.

Lazy Lasagna  Love lasagna but hate the work?  This slow cooker version will take
the work out of lasagna.

Pepperoni Pasta Dinner  Reminiscent of pizza this is one everybody devours.

Pepsi Pot-roast  A recipe from one of my flylady friends, this has very few ingredients
and you can use Coke if you want.

Ranch Roast  Starting with a roast a few packages of mix and a little wine, use
broth if you don't want the alcohol, and you have a fabulous dinner.

Santa Fe Stew  Just a few ingredients that can be kept on hand and a little melted
cheese and you have a dinner that everybody loves.

Susy's Beef  This was a very late entry into the What a Crock contest.  It's made with
tea and garlic and looks very interesting.

Swiss Steak Supper  Just brown the meat a little and pop it all in the crockpot and Voila,
dinner is ready after work
.

Teriyaki Steak  One of our readers sent in this Asian style dinner that is a sure crowd
pleaser.
