CHERRY DELIGHT with PORT DESSERT
When entertaining, especially after a heavy meal, this is a perfect light, not
too sweet dessert, refreshing and delicious!
1 can 16-oz. pitted black cherries, drained
1 cup drained cherry juice and water to make 1 cup
1 pkg. 3-oz. cherry gelatin
1 cup port wine
1 cup chopped walnuts
Heat cherry juice to boiling, take off heat and add gelatin, stir until
dissolved; cool. Add port wine; chill until slightly thickened. Fold
in cherries and walnuts. Spoon into 6 individual dessert bowls. Chill until
firm.
Serves six. Enjoy!
