Bacon Cream Cheese Spirals

1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 C. crumbled bacon pieces
2 T. chopped onion
1/8 t. ground black pepper
1 (8 oz.) package refrigerated crescent rolls

Combine all ingredients except rolls. Separate rolls into 4 rectangles; pinch
seams together. Spread cheese mixture on each rectangle. Roll up, starting at
longest side; seal. Cut each roll into 8 slices. Place on a baking stone or
sheet; bake at 350° for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Yield: 32 appetizers.
