Turkey and Barley Soup
1 10-oz can cooked turkey (or use leftovers)
2 cans chicken or vegetable broth
3/4 cup chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 tsp basil
1/4 cup barley
2 small red potatoes
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup chopped carrots
1 can (14-oz) diced tomatoes
1 head chopped cabbage
In a large soup pot, combine broth and barley and bring to a boil.
Lower heat and add other ingredients as you get them chopped/prepared.
Simmer for 45 minutes.
