Spicy Pork Soup
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1/2 lb. pork tenderloin, cut into short strips
5 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp. ginger, peeled and sliced
4 cups chicken broth
4 1/2 oz. fresh linguine, cut in half
1 1/2 cups bean sprouts
3 tbsp. soy sauce
cayenne pepper to taste
Heat sesame oil in a large, heavy
saucepan over medium high heat. Add pork,
green onions, ginger
and sauté for one minute. Add chicken broth, pasta, sprouts
and soy sauce.
Bring soup to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer
until pork is
cooked through and linguine is tender. Season to taste with cayenne
pepper and serve.
