HEAVENLY FROZEN STRAWBERRY LOAF
1 (6 oz.) package strawberry Jell-O
1 cup hot water
1 can (15-16 oz) strawberries in syrup
1 cup whipping cream
Line 8x4-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Grease
slightly. In a medium mixing bowl, mix the Jell-O with boiling water and
stir
until dissolved. Add strawberries and syrup and mix well. Put in the
freezer until thickened slightly (until it resembles thick raw egg white),
about 15-20 minutes. In a mixing bowl, whip cream and fold into Jell-O
mixture.
Pour into the prepared loaf pan and cover. Freeze 6 hours or until
firm. To serve, remove from pan; peel off foil or plastic wrap.
as desired (I like fresh mint sprigs); slice. Return leftovers to
freezer.
