Easy Beef and Noodles
1lb Stew meat, Beef or Venison cut in even bite size pieces
1 can each cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup
1 can of water
1- 4oz can of mushroom stems and pieces, do not drain.

salt & pepper
olive oil for frying
8 oz sour cream
16 oz package wide egg noodles
1 med onion, chopped
2 heaping teaspoons chopped garlic (jarred type)
1/4 med green bell pepper, chopped
garlic salt to taste.
Salt and pepper meat, roll in flour and brown in deep heavy pot, I use a cast
iron pot. add oil as needed to keep from sticking. When meat is almost done,
add onion and bell pepper, cook until onion is almost clear. Add mushrooms
and juice from can, both soups and the can of water. cook and stir until soup
is smooth. Add garlic and stir in well.
Reduce heat to low, put lid on pot, and cook about 1 and 1/2 hours, stirring
every half hour or so, until meat is tender. Cook noodles according to
package directions, drain well. Add sour cream to meat mixture, stir until
smooth and garlic salt to taste. Add noodles and mix well. Serve to your
family. My family loves this recipe. I usually use it with venison stew
meat, but it works well with the beef also.
