Deviled Eggs
These are always a favorite and a
must have item at the Easter Egg hunt.
1 doz. hard boiled eggs, shells
removed
1/2 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
2 drops Tabasco sauce (or your favorite kind)
Slice the eggs in half lengthwise
and put the yolks in a bowl. Mash the yolks and add all
the rest of the ingredients. Stir until fairly smooth. Stuff the mixture back in
the hollows of
the egg whites.
Variations:
Sprinkle paprika on the top.
Add some crumbled bacon to the mixture.
Add a Tsp. of prepared horseradish to the mixture.
Add a large caper on the top.
Add a slice of black olive on the top.
Use your imagination to garnish and for the filling.
